Pam Leno / Ideal Wellness Northwest

Pamela’s interest in wellness began in her 20’s with a position in a random fitness club.  It evolved over the next 30 years to include many certifications including Fitness Class Instruction IDEA, Triathlon Coaching ITCA, and more. This included an 18 year career with the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle teaching, training, creating programs and triathlon coaching.  As she began to research how more and more of our population were suffering with complications associated with obesity and poor eating habits her interests began to move more to what we are putting in our mouths than how much we exercise.  It was a shock to find out that to lose 1 lb of fat one must burn the equivalent calories of running a marathon!  This passion to help others to a healthier, happier lifestyle changed her direction. In 2011 Pamela teamed up with Dr Robert Nooney in Olympia WA to begin a new journey:  Ideal Wellness NW.

Pam and Dr Nooney began to research different programs that coached patients to eat healthier meals, lose weight, reduce medications, and create a new lifestyle that allowed better health and quality of life. They found a product and protocol, Ideal Protein, that had specific, measurable outcomes documented and research that indicated that their program could actually help people get off medications.  Pam dived in and started Ideal Wellness which expanded into Ideal Wellness NW with the opening of a 2nd location in Tacoma.  She felt that there was more to weight loss for long-term success than just changing your diet part-time.  There had to be more.  She pressed into life coaching and became certified with LOA, QSCA and HPA.  These techniques were combined with the products and dietary protocol and Pam created a “nutrition for the body and the mind” concept.  She trained her coaches with her techniques and along with the Ideal Protein products and protocol, her team continues to coach their patients to better health and happiness.  Next Pamela realized that many of her patients had deeper programs and beliefs running in their minds other than just to lose weight. She realized she needed to get to a deeper level with them to help.  She began studying hypnosis and  became a certified Hypnotherapist.  She has seen many benefits from her extensive research and education both in training Ideal Wellness NW coaches to being premier life-style change ambassadors and in helping their clients to greater health, happiness and balance.  She is currently writing a coaching manual to that will assist in training other coaches and patients. This book will give its readers the ability to help people regain their health physically, mentally and spiritually with a more relaxed clarity, confidence and energy. Her question to you is: “Are you ready to change your lifestyle for a healthier, happier you?”
