Boeing delivered more 737 jets in the first quarter of 2018 than same three months of 2017, according to new figures from the aircraft manufacturer.

Boeing said Tuesday that it delivered 132 of the jets in in January, February and March, up 17 percent percent from 113 in the prior-year period.

Boeing spokesman Doug Alder said the 66 deliveries of 737s in March was a new record for the program, even though suppliers of the single-aisle jet’s fuselages and twin engines experienced challenges meeting…
