Boeing said Tuesday it delivered more commercial airplanes than any other manufacturer in 2017 for the sixth consecutive year, delivering a record 763 aircraft thanks to higher 737 and 787 jet production.

Boeing had set a delivery target of 760 to 765 airplanes, so it met its 2017 goal, Boeing marketing vice president Randy Tinseth said.
