Inside the McKinsey study: King County homelessness crisis is outpacing funding

The homelessness crisis in King County is worsening even as public agencies and nonprofits move more households out of homelessness. A McKinsey & Co. study says King County’s homeless population has grown by 11 percent since 2017, but funding has increased by less than 2.5 percent in that same time.
